How far would you go for your fries?
Who doesn’t love fries? Almost everybody does. It is perfect for movie time, working time, leisure time—or practically all the time for some people. It can be fattening but it is sure one delicious treat that can be paired with any kind of dip. But how far would you go just to get your hands on this scrumptious fried food?
34-year-old Diane Clayton and her boyfriend Simon Hill were at a friend’s house, having drinks and eating fries. The drunk British girl then realized that her boyfriend had eaten all the fries and left none for her. Infuriated, she slaps him across the face and storms into the kitchen. She then grabs a knife and heads back to the room to stab her boyfriend.
They soon left together, but Simon returned to their friend’s house in fear for his life. Sober, Diane Clayton then returned to their friend’s house the following morning and attacked Simon again, this time, cutting his hands.
Said prosecutor Parveen Akhtar at Clayton’s sentencing:
“Simon Hill ate them all and that caused her to get angry.
“She was seen to slap him across the face before leaving the room.
“She picked up a knife in the kitchen and then stabbed him causing a superficial injury.”
She pleaded guilty to assaulting causing actual bodily harm and was sentenced to 26 weeks in prison and ordered to pay a fine of £115 ($202).
